I would consider naturopathic medicine the bridge between Western medicine and traditional medical practices. With the training in evidence based approaches, conventional diagnosis and therapeutics and traditional healing modalities, Naturopathic Doctors are in the ideal position to guide you in integrative care and we have the time in our appointments to go over all your concerns and put together the pieces of your unique health puzzle.

Naturopathic doctors are trained in pharmacology and how to check for interactions with supplements and herbs as well as how to optimize the benefits of the pharmaceutical treatments you are on while minimizing side effects. Sometimes there is the option to reduce the need for medications with lifestyle changes, other times it may be in your best interest to do a combined treatment approach. I'm experienced in working with both approaches and can support you in your goals.

I am licensed under the Collage of Naturopaths of Ontario. I am continually updating my knowledge with more courses and working in a teaching role at the Canadian Collage of Naturopathic Medicine.
